JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Technician is responsible for conducting nursing assessment, medication monitoring, and documentation. The role involves observing clients, charting and reporting changes in clients; conditions, and recording patients’ withdrawal symptoms. Medical Technicians may also be responsible for collecting samples for the lab and educating clients on prescriptions and medication management. The role also requires measuring and recording clients’ vital signs, client documentation, and client rounds. Medical Technicians must uphold HIPAA regulations, ADA and Joint Commission policies and procedures boundaries, and client and company confidentiality.
REQUIREMENTS

- Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance
- Vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to move 25 lbs
- Ability to sit at a desk, use a keyboard, and write as necessary
- Ability to move about the facility to observe clients and staff
- California EMT, MA, CNA, LVN license
- One year of experience in a residential healthcare facility, behavioral health, mental health, hospital, or another related field
